Rotterdam
Although the city we live in has changed enormously, our mentality and passion have not. We are straightforward. We promise what we do and do what we promise. "Rotterdammers" do not eat honey. They chew on bees.
A few words about who we are
Over more than half a century ago, grandpa Storsbergen sold fresh flowers to cruise ships in the Netherlands and Germany. As his successful business grew, his son rebranded the company ‘Rhine River Supply’. The flowers were replaced with fruits and vegetables and orders arrived by fax and telephone, as was customary back in the day.
Today
Sixty years later, the third generation Storsbergen has taken the company further into Europe. We are now NORDIS and our modern Rotterdam-based company is as ambitious as ever. With ten trucks of our own and non-stop business, we are constantly moving. Literally. Our drivers are dedicated ambassadors who love their job. And yes, we retired the fax machine. Ordering with NORDIS now happens online: fast, secure and easy.
Europe’s Best
Our service is based on delivering a broad and constant assortment of fresh fruits and vegetables. We are no strangers to local, regional and international markets. We achieve the shortest possible route between source and ship, utilizing the best products that Europe – and the world – has to offer.
